“If people like you, they will find a way to do business with you. If people don’t like you, even if it’s in their best interest, they will not do business with you.”
– Alan Kligerman
Practice Gratitude. Be Humble.
Those are two underrated tips for success.
Expressing gratitude is important to me (and we’re just a few days removed from “giving thanks”), so I’m taking some time to shout someone out.
Mr. Kligerman was a guest speaker for one of my Applied Economics and Management courses at Cornell University. I’ve stayed in contact with him over the years and he’s a source of wisdom.
He’s an inventor and the founder of Lactaid (along with a few other companies), so you know his work even if you’ve never heard his name.
Whether you’re looking to get your new restaurant off the ground or pitching a deal for Boardwalk, the aforementioned quote holds true.
And with the holidays just around the corner, If you’re searching for a new approach to a persistent problem, we’re here for you.
Posting a shout out to my mom: Lady Ifeoma Okeke. She was a lady full of wisdom and life that fulfilled her God given purpose and touched so many lives positively before she passed. As the years go by I realize how wise and resourceful she was. My only regret is that I came to a full realization of her ingenuity after she passed.
